For this project on the drawing board, we set out to bring the best of our past designs---classically-inspired farmhouse architecture, fine cabinetry work, and beautiful modern amenities—to a unique new home. Sited with total privacy and glorious views on 25 acres in the Shekomeko Valley, the plans include a two story master wing, a separate guest/pool house, and a wine tasting room with fireplace.

We are also giving much thought to sustainable design elements and energy efficiency as we finalize our plans--- intelligent window placement and natural ventilation to cut down on heating and cooling costs and to maximize passive solar power-- a “cool” roof design with a rain water catch basin for irrigation---environmentally friendly building materials, such as certified wood products wherever possible and highy efficient appliances and fixtures throughout.
